Awazu Kouka
Kouka Awazu is a Japanese calligraphy artist who conveys the spirit of Japan beyond words.
She has performed over 500 times in Japan and abroad, including at international conferences attended by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress and the Prime Minister of Japan.
With over 50 overseas performances in countries such as France, Vietnam, and Taiwan, her dynamic calligraphy has captivated audiences at major venuesincluding Makuhari Messe, Tokyo Big Sight, and the Tokyo International Forum.

FAQ
- The performance lasts approximately 15 minutes. Upon request, it can be followed by a live shamisen performance or a hands-on calligraphy experience (total duration about 40 minutes).
- A venue with a large wall or a space where a big sheet of paper can be attached (such as on a whiteboard) is ideal. We take great care to fully protect the walls and floors before the performance, so please rest assured that the space will remain perfectly clean and safe.
- We can accommodate your preferences for the paper size, as well as the color of the paper and ink used in the calligraphy performance. After the performance, the completed artwork will be presented to you as a gift.
The performance can be held either indoors or outdoors, as long as the environment is not too harsh. In both cases, we take thorough protective measures to ensure that the area remains completely clean and undamaged.
If time allows, guests are also welcome to enjoy a hands-on calligraphy experience.
